I grew up in a family that loved music. My uncle was Boyce King, a guitarist and gospel singer who worked with King Records, and he taught me how to record multiple tracks in his home studio back in the '90s. My parents were big on music too, introducing me to a mix of pop and country from the Bee Gees to Johnny Cash, and even some of Blowfly's not-so-kid-friendly rap albums that I'd sneak from my dad's collection. Back in the '90s and early 2000s, I was the lead singer of an alternative rock band called Draggin’ Ass Jones, and we made an album called 'This Changes Everything'. I've always been a huge fan of movies, especially the music that goes with them. I've worked on a few podcasts and audio dramas, doing everything from composing music to producing the show and chatting on-air.
